2008 + a slow start.

Well...it’s a new year! And in sticking with the theme of renewal, Detroit’s Finest Records is renewing its purpose to put out records by some of Detroit’s finest. While we are a bit stretched for time and money right now (surely you’ve heard of our statewide absence of capital)- we will attempt to grow in both catalog and influence. It would be wrong of us to deny you of the great music that is coming out of this great city.
Right now, The Hotwalls are busy on their second album. The response to their first one has been overwhelmingly positive. GoManGo is working on their first release. And, hopefully, we’ll get to release a split EP with The Bone Orchard Revival & The Northern Whiskey Syndicate - 2 of Detroit’s finest americana acts. It’s not just garage rock, kids!!!
